Professional Development Awards

The SQA has developed a suite of short Professional Development Awards in Management and Leadership. These are short focused awards made up of two Units. We currently offer 7 PDA’s from the SQA’s Competency Suite made up of SVQ units. We are approved to deliver from SCQF Level 7 to Level 11 PDA’s which are jointly certificated with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI).

These SVQ units are designed to develop knowledge and understanding, but also allow candidates to demonstrate occupational competence in a range of management activities through proof of actual performance in the workplace.
