Kris left Forfar academy in 2000 with (A) grade higher qualifications in English, Maths and Computing and during further studies he obtained higher grades in Physics and French.  From there he went to pursue his apprenticeship with his father as a joiner.  After a time, his father convinced Kris that with all his qualifications he should apply for Abertay University in Dundee.

Kris then went on and achieved and HND in legal services in 2003. After this the job opportunities in the legal sector were few and far between so he went back to starting his apprenticeship in 2004 where he achieved his advanced craft level 3 in 2008.

From there he built his knowledge on a wide range of different construction house builds, and focused on advancing his career which resulted him achieving different positions from joinery foreman to Operations Director in a well knowing building company.  He is a highly driven individual who is willing to learn as he goes.  In 2022 he passed his CITB, SMSTS in site management, and at present Kris is furthering his career working towards an SQA in Health and Safety alongside his Learning and Development qualification.  His firm knowledge of the construction industry has enabled him to climb to where he is today through his expert knowledge and understanding of the requirements of Health and Safety within the construction industry.
